In March 2019, the founders Daniel Heerz and Sebastian Mozol of the German Back to Nature Holding GmbH have taken over the shares of the Swedish Back to Nature AB from the former parent company Aqualogistik GmbH. The seat of the new company is Soest, Germany.
The production will remain at the traditional location in the Swedish town of Koppaberg. The German company AquaLogistik GmbH, the former proprietor, will stay the wholesale partner for the entire product range of Back to Nature.
Back to Nature has been known as a manufacturer for aquarium backgrounds and as the inventor of the 3D experience for 30 years. The company became internationally known at the Interzoo in 1994. During the last five years, Daniel Heerz was responsible for sales and distribution of Back to Nature at Aqualogistik. Sebastian Mozol has been the operation manager for production and product development for the last three years.
Creating a unique background in an aquarium is a tricky thing for many aquarium hobbyists, says Daniel Heerz. Back to Nature offers 3D aquarium backgrounds with different themes like jungles, rock walls and coral reefs, flat endless Slimline environments that can be put together to any length, and a considerable choice of root and rock modules that offer the customer an enormous range of possibilities to create beautiful aquarium and terrarium landscapes. We have accepted the challenge to plan and realize vivarium layouts, together with our highly experienced partners, following our customers’ wished to the last detail. The products from Back to Nature are readily available in all the world – thanks to our highly reactive, finely woven web of distributors with impressive storage capacities.
The company has already started to implement significant modernizations during the last months. New products like Garden Rocks and new additions to the aquarium products as well as a fresh approach to marketing are the first steps that are going to lead us into a great future. The homepage www.backtonature.se has gotten a complete overhaul, and more pages have been added.
