Zahir Ibrahim is expected to accelerate the company’s path to profitability.
Ibrahim has nearly 30 years of financial leadership experience across public and private organizations, including scaling high-growth, direct-to-consumer brands.
He is based in New York and will report to BARK’s Co-Founder and CEO Matt Meeker, who believes Zahir will bring “high-talented leadership” to the company.
Prior to joining BARK, Ibrahim served as CFO and Chief Administrative Officer of Do Good Foods, a start-up that upcycles leftover grocery food into animal feed. He also served as the CFO of the healthy snacks enterprise, KIND, a Mars subsidiary.
Ibrahim holds a Bachelor of Arts in Financial Management, Economics, and Accounting from the University of Sheffield and an MBA from the University of Warwick in the UK.
