Ikdeep Singh will lead the manufacturer’s strategy to grow its pet nutrition business to 50 new markets worldwide.
Ikdeep, who will also become a member of Mars Petcare’s global leadership team, will bring his comprehensive experience as a “transformative” and “purpose-driven” leader.
“He has established himself as a strong, well-respected leader. He brings a wealth of global experience to the role and has a clear focus on our people and purpose: a better world for pets,” noted Poul Weihrauch, President of Mars Petcare.
Ikdeep Singh joined the company in 2020 as Pet Nutrition’s Regional President for North America, the largest market for the Pet Nutrition branch. He helped to develop the business with a focus on digital transformation, innovation and data leveraging.
Before entering the global pet food field, he served for 6 years as President of the L’Oréal Group across Consumer Products and Luxury divisions in North America, and worked for 14 years at multinational consumer goods corporation Procter and Gamble.
The Mars pet nutrition portfolio encompasses more than 30 brands, including Pedigree, Whiskas, Sheba and Cesar.
