About Valta
The history of Valta Pet Products goes back to the 1990s, when the Russian pet industry was still in its infancy. Valta was one of the first companies that aimed to become a true friend and partner of pet loving people, through their desire to increase and improve the lifespan of their pets.
For twenty years, Valta has carried out its mission of promoting safe, loving, long- term relationships between pet owners and their companion animals. Currently, Valta is one of the largest pet products distributors in Russia.
There are over fifty brands in the company’s portfolio, from well-known US, European and Russian producers. Goods of over twenty brands are sold on the Russian market under exclusive distribution agreements with Valta. Today, Valta’s range covers everything for pets and their care. There are high quality pet foods, attractive and ingenious toys, comfortable pet beds, pet houses and cages, everything for the aquarium, veterinary products, all sorts of care products and much more.
Leadership
Valta is run by a professional team of 22 top managers headed by the Managing Director. They are all true leaders in their own departments and set a good example to each other. Valta’s managers understand that a leader should take genuine interest in their clients’ bussiness and the performance of their staff. The key is being genuine.
According to Irina Golovchenko, Valta’s Managing Director, a leader is: “Someone who is able to channel positive enery to his or her team. A leader sets challenging goals, shows the right attitude and leads by example.”
