Antelope takes over pet wellness e-commerce Ark Naturals
This is the fourth acquisition by the California-based company, which aims to expand its online footprint.
Ark Naturals will continue to operate under its brand name within the Antelope portfolio. Michael Stoeckle, who will remain as the company’s CEO, described this development as the “next chapter” for the company.
Headquartered in Florida, the company sells natural products in dental, hip and joint, skin and coat, senior, and wellness categories.
Antelope Pets founder and CEO Wendy Wen claimed that with this acquisition they want to grow their base as well as expand their online presence. “We are well on our way to be a next-generation conglomerate of high-quality natural pet brands.”
Antelope, a subsidiary of Antelope Investors, has recently acquired other companies within the category. These include: Bocce’s Bakery, an all-natural, limited ingredients pet treats and supplements brand; Diggin’ Your Dog and Super Snouts, pet CBD supplements, health products and treats; and Doggo, a digital insurance and training services provider for dogs and cats.
