Color giant GNT has launched the EXBERRY® Pet Food Range, a non-GMO line of fruit, vegetable and plant concentrates developed for cat and dog products.

GNT is a global market leader in natural colors for food and drink. With demand for premium pet food growing fast, the company has developed the range to bring its expertise across to manufacturers of cat and dog formulations.

Compliant and versatile

The EXBERRY® Pet Food Range is fully compliant with applicable EU regulations for pet food.

The concentrates are designed for products including kibbles, snacks and treats, allowing manufacturers to develop nutritious and enjoyable treats with a full rainbow of intense shades.

Christina Niehoff, Product Manager at GNT Group, says: “We are delighted to be able to supply our high-quality EXBERRY® products to pet food manufacturers. Consumer focus on pet health and wellness is increasing at a rapid pace, with owners looking for high-quality products made with natural ingredients. Our color-intense, plant-based ingredients make it possible for manufacturers to create more natural products while still achieving visual differentiation.”

Natural formulations

The concentrates are created from raw materials including apples, carrots, radishes, turmeric and spirulina using gentle processing methods and without the use of chemical solvents.

Niehoff adds: “The EXBERRY® Pet Food Range offers a truly natural solution for cat and dog food. GNT has vast formulation experience working with equivalent applications in food and drink, and we are delighted to now be able to provide our expertise to pet food manufacturers as well. They can rely on us to provide the same high quality and exceptional service that has made EXBERRY® one of the world’s leading natural color brands.”
