Jollyes increases sales and anticipates £100 million turnover in 2023

The revenue of the British pet retailer reached £53.2 million (€61.6M) in the first 6 months of 2022.

Sales increased 23% against 2021 thanks to the higher in-store purchases, new openings and acquisitions, and rising demand in online and omnichannel.

“The halfyear performance shows that our approach of being a national group with a local approach is what customers want. We’re in a strong position to achieve our ambitious growth plans, and we have significant opportunities to bring our unique offer to more communities across the UK,” said Richard Cotter, Executive Chairman at Jollyes.

The retailer is opening 2 more stores this week and will add 6 additional ones by May 2023. It expects to open its 100th store by early 2024.

Jollyes earned £87 million (€100.8M) in the year to 29 May 2022 and wants to hit the £100 million (€115.9M) mark by next year.
