Latest partnerships in the pet industry

From pet insurance and health solutions to care innovations, key players are expanding their services through recent collaborations. GlobalPETS highlights the latest developments in the market.

Beyond expanding their reach, businesses in the pet industry are forming strategic partnerships to enhance product offerings and improve services. These collaborations, from insurance and treats to pet health solutions, drive innovation and growth.

Pet insurance

In pet insurance, UK-based Agria has partnered with pricing solutions provider Quantee to enhance its growth in Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark, Germany, France, the UK and Ireland.

Under the deal, Quantee’s end-to-end pricing platform will offer strategic pricing on Agria’s distinctive selection of coverages and enable the company to achieve “profitable growth” in new markets.

This development is believed to add to the firm’s goal of becoming Europe’s leading pet insurance provider.

Pet health

Suitical International, a company specializing in designing and manufacturing pet recovery wearables, has partnered with British retailer Pets at Home, expanding its range of innovative solutions for pet medical recovery. The company has also fostered a similar agreement with Petland Canada to extend these care solutions to North America.

In addition, Pets at Home recently partnered with Uproot Clean, a producer of pet hair removal products.

The company’s popular Uproot Cleaner Mini and Pro tools will be available at over 450 Pets at Home stores across the UK just before winter. This will give British pet owners convenient access to innovative products designed to help them maintain clean, pet-hair-free homes.

PetEyez, a pet treats and health product manufacturer, has signed a distribution deal with Pet US-based Palette Distribution.

This will expand the reach of PetEyez’s products across the US, including its eye and ear wipes and vitamin treats, while educating consumers about pet eye health.

Pet care

Meanwhile, American pet services provider WagWay Group has partnered with Pawville, a pet care resort chain, to integrate its tech-enabled care solutions across 10 Mid-Atlantic and Southeastern US locations.

WagWay’s tech includes real-time webcams and a custom digital app, which will allow Pawville to further enhance the pet care experience for its clients across locations like North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia and Florida.

Treats and chews

Butcher’s Naturals, a UK-based dog treat brand, announced on 16 October 2024 that its single-sourced treats and chews are now available on the American online pet product retailer Chewy.

Free from artificial colorings, preservatives and flavorings, the company is excited to launch its line and make it available to pet parents across the United States.

“We understand the importance of providing our pets with high-quality, natural ingredients, and we are committed to delivering that,” states Pete Chesna, Director of Eurofresh Foods, the makers of Butcher’s Naturals.
