Omega Plus appoints North America business manager

Michael Fabbro will lead the North American operations for The New Zealand King Company, creators of Omega Plus salmon pet treats.

Currently, Fabbro is Vice President for New Zealand King Salmon USA and has been managing the company’s sales and business development in North America since 2010. After years of working on their human-focused products, Fabbro will spearhead the company’s entry into the pet industry.

“Michael has been a valuable member of our team for over ten years and has a proven track record of developing strategic long-term business plans,” commented Grant Rosewarne, CEO, The New Zealand King Salmon Co. “We’re confident that he will play a fundamental role in the success of the Omega Plus pet brand as we expand into the U.S. market.”
 
Omega Plus was created in part as an initiative to utilize the nose-to-tail sustainability of salmon. The Omega Innovations team at New Zealand King Salmon have the specific objective of reducing raw material waste across their processing sites with the goal of achieving full-utilization of their salmon. This practice is driven by the brand’s environmental and sustainability goals for zero fish waste.
