Pet Valu’s CFO James Grady quits

VP Tammy Nunez will assume the Canadian pet retailer’s interim Chief Financial Officer role.

Pet Valu highlighted the “significant contributions” that Grady achieved in his tenure, which began in 2017.

“We greatly appreciate Jim’s significant contributions through a period of tremendous change and expansion of Pet Valu, including our initial public offering in 2021 and acquisition of Chico in Quebec last year,” it said.

James Grady will take up a leadership role in a US-based firm, and the company is currently looking for a replacement. Tammy Nunez has been with the company for 3 years and will temporarily assume the position within the retailer’s management team.
