Protix appoints Josien Hermans as CCO
Protix has grown rapidly from start-up to scale-up and has now been completely transformed into a commercial producer of sustainable insect ingredients. To strengthen their new status and roll out their commercial strategy, they apointed Josien Hermans Chief Commercial Officer.
Josien is an experienced commercial expert in both the international food and feed industry. She has extensive experience in the ingredients industry, but also in consumer goods. She held various commercial leadership positions at FrieslandCampina, Cargill and Unilever where she led commercial teams and projects that brought innovative solutions and strategic partnerships. Josien has an MBA from Erasmus University Rotterdam.
Josien will be responsible for the commercial strategy, leading the sales team and marketing & product development activities, and driving the company’s international growth.
This new appointment reflects our focus on continuous growth and international expansion.
