The Nutriment Company closes second acquisition this year

The Swedish pet food manufacturer adds British raw pet food manufacturer Natural Instinct to its portfolio.

The Nutriment Company (TNC) has announced the acquisition of Natural Instinct, a Surrey-based raw pet food and treat manufacturer.

The transaction is expected to help cement TNC’s position as a leading player in the Central European market for high-quality natural pet food.

Natural Instinct CEO Phil Keen admits the acquisition will be “a valuable step to expand opportunities” for the UK-based company’s team and customers.

A key market

This is TNC’s second investment in 2024, following its recent acquisition of Scottish raw pet food producer Totally Natural Pet Products.

“The UK is one of our key priority markets, and with the acquisition of Totally Natural Pet Products and now Natural Instinct with its long-standing expertise and tradition in high quality, natural pet food, we are creating a significant presence in the market,” says Anders Kristiansen, CEO of The Nutriment Company.

The company says it will organically expand its footprint in the UK “over the next few years” while closing further acquisitions.
