Pet industry leaders continue to receive recognition for their innovative products and services. From product excellence to pet wellness and technology advancements, the following companies are making an impact. Here’s a look at some notable pet players recently honored with prestigious awards.

Product of the Year winners

The Product of the Year Awards, a globally recognized annual awards program that honors and highlights the most innovative products in various consumer categories, recently acknowledged several pet players for 2025.

The awards are driven by consumer feedback supported by various market research firms. The Product of the Year organization oversees the process, including conducting surveys, managing voting and maintaining credibility.

American Pet Nutrition’s Supreme Source brand won multiple awards in the dog food category. A survey of 40,000 US consumers chose Supreme Source Mix-Ins to take home the Product of the Year award for dog food. In dog treats, Supreme Source Jerky Cuts won.

Sheba Gravy Indulgence, a Mars Petcare brand, took home the US prize for cat food. In cat care, Purina took home the product of the year prize for its Petivity smart litterbox monitoring system.

The Canadian version of the award highlighted Petcurean. The premium pet food brand won the prize for its Go! Solutions Hairball Control + Urinary Care recipe. 4,000 Canadian consumers were surveyed to decide the winner.

In pet health, NaturVet’s Advanced Probiotics & Enzymes triumphed. NaturVet is owned by Swedencare.

Zesty Paws and Earth Rated

Meanwhile, Zesty Paws, owned by Hong Kong-based H&H Company, is celebrating a win at Singapore’s Shopee Brands Summit, a networking and awards event for brands looking to succeed in the Southeast Asian e-commerce landscape. The supplement company was named Singapore’s Fastest-Growing Brand in the lifestyle category.

“This milestone reflects our growing global presence and pet parents’ trust in our premium pet wellness innovations,” Wayne W. W., an Associate Director at H&H, says on LinkedIn. “With lifestyle being one of Shopee’s most competitive categories – alongside electronics and beauty, this recognition highlights our impact internationally.”

Dog poop bag producer Earth Rated, another Canadian brand, recently won the GlobalPETS Forum Award for 2025.

Pet tech

The American computer magazine and website PCMag, which reviews tech products across various sectors, recently awarded PetPace, a wearable technology company, its Excellence Award. The Massachusetts company makes smart dog collars that monitor various veterinary health indicators, including heart rate, stress level and temperature.

In Argentina, MiVetShop, an e-commerce veterinary company, recently won gold at Royal Canin’s Global eCommerce Awards in the “Best Online Strategic Project – Test & Learn” category.

AI-driven intelligent veterinary exam assistant VEA was honored with the Grand Prize at the 2025 Purina Pet Care Innovation Prize, adding to the list of award-winning innovators. The Purina Prize celebrates excellence in pet care innovation, and VEA’s recognition underscores its contributions to the industry.
