Wiggles makes key changes to leadership team with new CFO and CMO

Indian pet care brand Wiggles elevated Prashant Kohli to Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and Pushkaraj Vartak to Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

Pushkaraj Vartak took on the Vice President (VP) – Accounts & Finance role at Wiggles in 2022 and is said to have been instrumental in driving the company’s financial performance. 

In his new position, Vartak will lead the financial strategy and run the company’s financial operations. 

He has more than 20 of experience in finance across multiple sectors, including construction, fast-moving consumer goods, and media companies. 

His expertise and specializations are in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), treasury management, and taxation, among other areas. Prior to joining Wiggles, Vartak served as the VP of The Glitch, a Mumbai-based advertising agency.

Driving engagement
Prashant Kohli joined the company last year as its VP for Brand Strategy, and in his new role as CMO, he will lead the company’s marketing initiatives and drive consumer engagement. 

Under his direction, Wiggles rebranded and took on its Lovemark identity. Lovemark is a marketing theory that aims to replace the concept of brands.

Kohli has more than 13 years of experience with a sharp skill set spanning brand and customer experience, community building, integrated media communications, and design thinking. 

Prior to Wiggles, Prashant served at The Glitch as VP of Strategy. He has also worked with brands such as Apple, LinkedIn, Hindustan Unilever Limited, Facebook, Netflix, Disney+ Hotstar, and Uber. 

Anushka Iyer, Founder and CEO of Wiggles, said that Kohli and Vartak have been the company’s key pillars in the past year.
