Stockholm-based pet food manufacturer Voff has rebranded to The Nutriment Company in a bid to symbolize a “new era” of business activity.
With the new name, supported by its partnership with Nordic private equity group Axcel, the company wants to emphasize its mission to provide high-quality pet nutrition.
“The new name shows that high-quality, natural pet food in all its facets is our focus, which we will continue to drive forward internationally across all products and all markets,” says CEO Anders Kristiansen.
The Nutriment Company owns 10 brands in the raw pet food, air-dried snacks and natural supplements sectors. Last year, the firm expanded its footprint in Belgium and The Netherlands by acquiring 2 players: pet food producer Energique and natural raw dog and cat food manufacturer Carnibest.
Sustainability commitment
The Nutriment Company’s environment, social and governance (ESG) targets were also recently validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), further reflecting the company’s commitment to quality and sustainability in reducing emissions.
“We are delighted to have our ESG targets validated by the SBTi. They reflect our firm belief that sustainable business practices and responsible corporate governance are key to long-term success and industry leadership,” adds Kristiansen.
The SBTi is a collaboration between the non-profit CDP, N Global Compact, the World Resources Institute and the World Wide Fund for Nature.
