The Swedish company wants to expand its natural premium pet food portfolio.
Premium pet food provider Voff has announced the acquisition of Carnibest, a Dutch manufacturer of natural raw dog and cat food operating in The Netherlands and Belgium.
Voff Premium Pet Food CEO Anders Kristiansen, who was appointed in the role at the beginning of the year, says it is “truly exciting” to welcome Carnibest to the group.
Kristiansen admits that they have been following the raw dog and cat food producer for some time and is certain they can “jointly continue the success story” that Carnibest has been since its inception in 2001.
Founder Corine Bunschoten expressed confidence in Voff’s ability to grow and expand the brand.
This is the second acquisition of Voff this year, as it incorporated Dutch pet food company Energique into its portfolio earlier in February. The Stockholm-based firm has acquired 10 new pet businesses since it was created in 2014.
