The Nutriment Company (TNC) has made its third UK acquisition of the year after purchasing Pet Treats Wholesale, a manufacturer of natural dog treats and chews from Staffordshire.
The deal allows the company to expand its footprint into the natural pet treats sector, following the successful acquisitions of Totally Natural Pet Products in April and Natural Instinct in July.
TNC’s CEO Anders Kristiansen called the development “a very logical move.”
A previous supplier
The British manufacturer, known for its digestible treats, offers 150 products and has previously supplied TNC. It also serves 2,000 stockists with its portfolio of sausages, sticks, slices, pâtés and natural air-dried products.
TNC has consistently made headlines with its strategic acquisitions in 2024, and Pet Treats Wholesale marks its fourth deal of the year. It most recently strengthened its German footprint by acquiring PETMAN, a raw pet food company from North Rhine-Westphalia.
