Belgian pet retailer Tom&Co wants to become European market leader
2020 was an excellent year for Tom&Co with a revenue growth of 15%.
Current owners Thierry le Grelle and Lionel Desclée bought the pet shop chain in 2016 from Delhaize, which no longer considered the chain a priority.
Their hard work since then seemed to have paid off. With their 30th anniversary coming up and the great results from last year, they certainly have a reason to celebrate.
Plans for the future
Today, the company has a total number of 130 stores in Belgium, France and Luxembourg. “Our goal is to open five stores this year and eventually have 250 franchise branches. We aim to become the European market leader in the pet supply industry”, said co-owner Thierry le Grelle. The main priority remains expansion in France.
