Gosbi support the specialized channel during the crisis, Cross Europe

The Gosbi online store has increased more than four times its usual revenue. Gosbi’s principles, of never promoting online sales to boost the commercial possibilities for the specialized channel and traditional business models, have made the company uncomfortable with such a situation.

Furthermore, the company understands that it is necessary to both offer a quality online service due to the situation and, at the same time, provide a solution for its partners, which are more than 5000 establishments.

For those reasons, Gosbi will allow its partners to redirect their clients to the online store, giving them a portion of all that said clients would purchase.

As Isaac Parés, CEO and Founder of Gosbi, states: “Due to the measures that are being implemented by the governments these past weeks, we noticed a sudden increase in online activity in our online store.

Our warehouses are fully capable of covering the demand created. Still, we believe that introducing this initiative will be worth it if it helps other small and medium companies that sell or trade with our products, or as we like to call them, our partners.”

The specialized channel and Gosbi

Gosbi products can only be acquired in veterinary clinics and specialized shops so that professional counseling is guaranteed to allow consumers to make the proper choice according to the needs of their pets. Moreover, the company has put its trust in this local network of professionals as expert advisers for the final user. The crux of the matter is that Gosbi understands that there is no better way of giving trust and credibility.

“We are aware that our colleagues of the specialized channel have experienced a decrease in visits, and so, a great deal of their income.” States Isaac

Further than just Business: #YoMeCorono

Apart from helping local stores and vets, the brand has compromised itself into donating 5% of its total sales, throughout the online platform, to the #YoMeCorono initiative, a social project impulsed by the Hospital “Trias and Pujol Brothers, Foundation Against HIV and Irsicaixa Foundation.” The movement is supported by many influencers and other renowned personalities such as Sharon Stone.

YoMeCorono, led by Dr. Bonaventura Clotet and Dr. Oriol Mitjà, is studying how to reduce the contagious capabilities of the virus and developing a vaccine.
