New boss for Goodman pet food business

Colm Dore is the new managing director of C&D Foods, part of the ABP group.

Dore previously managed ABP’s meat factory in Rathkeale, Co Limerick. A chartered accountant, he joined the group in 2004 after an earlier career in finance and audit roles.

C&D Foods employs 1,500 people at nine factories in seven countries manufacturing a range of private label pet food products.

The company is headquartered in Mullingar, Co Westmeath, and owns the factory founded by former Taoiseach Albert Reynolds in Edgeworthstown, Co Longford, all located in Ireland.
