PATS 2025 grows its reputation as international trade exhibition

PATS 2025, UK’s pet trade exhibition, is fast becoming the go-to event for international visitors to find British manufacturers, suppliers, and discover new season trends.
The Pet & Aquatics Trade Show will take place at its new venue, Hall 1 of the NEC Birmingham, UK, from Sunday 28 to Tuesday 30 September 2025, showcasing new products from over 400 brands.
A central venue with strong international appeal
PATS event director Gordon Thomas said: “We know that UK pet products sell very strongly around the world and representatives from international pet retailers and distributors can see the advantage of meeting up with British suppliers all under one roof.
“They agree that PATS is the perfect destination to discover what’s new in the market for the year ahead, and an ideal opportunity to talk to UK-based manufacturers and suppliers.”
With its proximity to Birmingham airport, the NEC is an ideal location for international visitors. There is a good choice of hotels in the area to fit all budgets, and a wide range of purpose-built catering facilities to suit all tastes.
Strengthening international presence
In support of its growing international reputation, the PATS team recently exhibited in the British Pavilion at Zoomark, where event director Gordon Thomas gave a talk on ‘The importance of the UK pet and aquatics market’.
To help drive international attendance, PATS has also partnered with leading global trade shows Zoomark and CIPS, engaging in joint marketing and promotional activity across all three events.
PATS is working closely with trade association PetQuip to enhance the experience for overseas visitors. PetQuip will host the International Buyers’ Centre and support the New Starter Zone at PATS 2025. The organisation will also hold its prestigious PetQuip Awards ceremony at the nearby National Conference Centre during the show.
Why global visitors choose PATS
Sandra Wales is a buyer for the Animal House in Limassol, Cyprus, and a regular visitor to PATS exhibitions. She will be attending this year’s show, where she hopes to find lots of new products for her clients.
Sandra said: “I’m happy to travel to the UK for a PATS exhibition as I always find something new and interesting. Having new products under one roof makes it easy for me to compare every item. I always find something new at the show.”
International buyers attending PATS 2025 will discover the following visitor attractions:
