Pet products in US are 3% more expensive than in January

Prices rose by 1.5% in March accelerated by online inflation, according to the latest data from the Adobe Digital Price Index.
Of the 18 product categories analyzed, pet products are the third that experienced the biggest price increase last month.
“Consumers are feeling a greater hit to their pocketbooks, with consistently high levels of online inflation in categories such as groceries and pet products,” said Patrick Brown, vice president of growth marketing and insights at Adobe.
Apparel (+16.2%), Grocery (+9%), and Homeware (+8.5%) are the categories that registered the biggest price hike in March.
In February, the same research concluded that prices for pet products were 1.3% more expensive than the previous month.
Goods within the pet segment are now 7% more expensive than in March 2021. According to the research, prices for pet products have been on the rise for 23 consecutive months.
