On 1 February, Maud Leschevin will join Tom & Co, the largest Belgian pet store brand, as Chief Customer Officer. This former Chief Commercial Officer of Standaard Boekhandel and General Manager of CLUB has chosen to take up a new challenge while remaining in the retail sector, a sector she particularly likes.

Maud Leschevin has for over twenty years held various prominent positions in the marketing sector for well-known companies on the Belgian market such as Unilever, Carrefour and Standaard Boekhandel. This is how she managed to reinvigorate CLUB, guide successfully the integration of CLUB in Standaard Boekhandel and manage the marketing and sales teams of the two brands in recent years. At Tom&Co, Maud Leschevin will coordinate the group’s marketing, the expansion of the network, sales and digital strategy.

For Maud Leschevin, who secured the sustainability of the CLUB shops, “A cycle is coming to an end, and the time is ripe to take on new challenges. Positioning Tom&Co as a specialist and steering the brand towards an emotional terrain are challenges I am ready to tackle. Furthermore, I find a business structure where you can go from strategy to operation with ease and where you meet a lot of people very exciting.”

Maud Leschevin has paved an exceptional career path in marketing for fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) brands and in retail.  For Thierry le Grelle, CEO of Tom&Co, her career profile corresponds to the current needs of Tom&Co: “Maud has managed to do with the CLUB brand what we wish to develop for Tom&Co, a multi-channel store concept where advice takes precedence. Customers come back just for the fun of it, meet their community, have a talk with the experts, etc.”
